The Donor Advised Fund

You choose the charities that benefit from your fund

With your Donor Advised Fund at The University of Alabama, 50% (or more) of your gift may be applied for University purposes you designate, and you may recommend up to 50% of your gifts to any 501(c)(3) public charity you choose — here in Alabama or anywhere in the United States. Making a gift is easy, but please note:

• The minimum gift size is $1,000
• Donor Advised Funds may not make gifts that will personally benefit a donor or an advisor or satisfy a pledge obligation (e.g., a gift cannot be used for membership fees such as Tide Pride, etc.).
