Making the Donor Advised Fund work for you

Contact The University of Alabama Office of Advancement to establish your fund
Give the Fund any name you choose
Make your initial contribution (a minimum of $25,000 is required) and make additional gifts of any size at any time
Designate a minimum of 50% (or one-half) for any purpose you choose at The University of Alabama
Work with us in developing an investment strategy
Recommend distributions to programs of The University of Alabama or up to 50% to other 501(c)(3) public charities at any time without charge (minimum $1,000 distributions)
Receive quarterly reports on your fund's activity, including gift distributions
Rely on our staff for timely, personal, professional service and guidance
